Cabling for business CCTV

We install the agreed routes, terminate cables and test connections. Cameras, the recorder and responsibility for the image remain with the client or its integrator.

  • Cameras and recorder supplied by the client
  • Cable route, termination and test
  • Material scope agreed before work
Quote based on the point plan

To assess the work, we need the camera count, route lengths and types, installation height and information about penetrations. We confirm materials and the test method before work.

What the organisation receives

  • Cables routed to the agreed camera points
  • Both ends of every line terminated and labelled
  • A connection test result for the installed sections

When to describe the task

  • The business has cameras but needs network routes prepared for them
  • The CCTV integrator expects completed and labelled LAN points
  • Existing cables have no labels or need basic verification

Agreed for delivery

  • Agreement of endpoints and available cable routes
  • Installation of cables in prepared or approved routes
  • Termination, labelling and testing of the agreed lines

Requires separate agreement

  • Selection, sale, mounting and configuration of cameras or the recorder
  • A guarantee of image quality, camera coverage or CCTV software operation
  • Electrical, building and work-at-height tasks without a separate agreement

What remains after the work

  • A list of installed points and labels
  • Test results using the agreed method
  • Information about deviations from the planned route
